1 Umera Ahmed

She  is a Popular fiction Urdu novelist and screenplay writer based in Sialkot, Pakistan who is best known for authoring the book Peer-e-Kamil  and the TV serial Meri Zaat Zara-e-Benishan.Her works depicts her progmatic and mature approach . Her stories revolves around many social, domestic and spiritual issues; comprising colours of true love, friendship,suspense and tragedy. What differentiates her from others is her dynamism, resourcefulness and ambition of bring to light certain controversial issues . Her admirers include people from all categories: students, housewives and professionals, who find themselves reflected by some character or other.Umera Ahmed earned a big name in showbiz industry as well in a very short span of time. Many of her novels like Man-o-Salwa, Lahasil, Amar Bail, Husna Aur Husn Ara, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Darbar-e-Dil, Thora Sa Asmaan, Mein Ney Khwabon Ka Shajar Dekha Hai, and Sauda have been adapted by television and aired by different tv channels. Whereas her other tv plays like Daam, Uraan, Qaid-e-Tanhai, The Ghost are based on her scripts. Her plays have been as much of a success as her novels, as they are watched by the families together.
2 Ashfaq Ahmed(Late)

He was a distinguished writer, playwright, broadcaster, intellectual and spiritualist from Pakistan. His prime qualities of heart and hand earned appreciations across the borders. He was regarded by many as the best Urdu Afsana (short-story) writer after Saadat Hasan Manto, Ismat Chughtaiand Krishan Chander following the publication of his famous short-story “Gaddarya” [The Shepherd] in 1955.
3 Anwar Maqsood Hameedi


He is  commonly known as Anwar Maqsoo or Anwer Maqsood is a Pakistani playwright, poet, television host, satirist, humorist, infrequent actor and painter. He has worked in the entertainment industry for over over 35 years.His work has included Studio Dhai (Studio 2:30) and then Studio Ponayteen (Studio 2:45) .50 50.loose talk along with Show sha and numerous other shows. His work incorporates humor, satire, and an approach to hard subjects in lighter vein.
4 Wasif Ali Wasif


He  was a teacher, writer, poet and sufi fromPakistan. He was famous for his unique literary style. He used to write short pieces of prose on topics like love, life, fortune, fear, hope, expectation, promise, prayer, happiness, sorrow and so on. He was the regular columnist of Pakistan Urdu Newspaper Nawa-i-Waqt. In his life most of his columns were combined to form books with his own selected title. He did poetry in Urdu andPunjabi languages. Probably no contemporary Urdu writer is more cited in quotations than he is. Later years he used to answer questions in specially arranged gatherings at Lahore attended by the notable community.
5 Ibn-e-Insha (Late)

He was a Pakistani Urdu poet, humorist, travelogue writer and columnist. Along with his poetry, he was regarded one of the best humorists of Urdu. His poetry has a distinctive diction laced with language reminiscent of Amir Khusro in its use of words and construction that is usually heard in the more earthy dialects of the Hindi-Urdu complex of languages, and his forms and poetic style is an influence on generations of young poets.
6 Mustansar Hussain Tarar



He is a Pakistani author, actor, former radio show host, compere and enthusiast. Having made a name for himself by taking the mantle in Pakistan’s mountaineering community, Mustansar Hussain is widely recognized as one of the most famous and well known personalities in both Pakistan and the rest of the world. Though the origin of his fame and decadence is usually considered to be his established and decorated career and as a writer, Tarar can also be recognized as the foremost endorser for tourism projects in Northern areas of Pakistan, having exorbitantly increased the array of tourist exposure to the areas in question by becoming both a mountaineer and an adventure author who uses these locations as backdrops for his storyline
7 Patras Bokhari

Syed Ahmed Shah (commonly known as Patras Bokhari - was an Urdu humourist, educator, essayist, broadcaster and diplomat from Pakistan. He is best known for his humorous writings in Urdu literature.
 
8 Javed Chaudhry

He  is a newspaper columnist inPakistan. His series of columns have been published in six volumes in Urdu language. His most notable column ZERO POINT has great influence upon people of Pakistan especially Youth and Muslims of Pakistan. He writes for the Urdu newspaper Daily Express four time a week, covering topics ranging from social issues to politics
9 Bano Qudsia

She  is a writer, intellectual, playwright andspiritualist from Pakistan who wrote Urdu novels and short storiesregarded among the best Urdu novelists and short story writers of modern times.She is best known for her novel Raja Gidh.She has written for television and stage in both the Urdu and Punjabi languages. Bano Qudsia is recognized as a trendsetter in the realm of television plays. Some of them gained immense popularity across the border because of their vitality, warmth and courage. Strife is one word she would like to banish from the dictionary
10 Fatima Surayya Bajia

She is a renowned Urdu novelist, playwright and drama writer of Pakistan. She has been awarded various awards at home and abroad including Japan’s highest civil award in recognition of her works. She also remained Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh province of Pakistan.She is a well-known personality in Pakistan with relation to the radio, television and stageand an ardent feminist. She wrote her first long play Mehman.She contributed for the literary programmes like Auraaq, and beauty care programmes under the title Aaraish-e-Khaam-e-Kakal and she also produced some children programmes.
